These gouaches paintings are works on paper where I study the sublime. I have been inspired by the work of James Turrell and Agnes Martin for the longest times. It is with these two titans of subliminal and ethereal landscapes in mind, that I created these pieces.
Many of these paintings on paper have been worked up in to larger oils paintings. The sense of purity, sublime, longing and peace are subjects that I regularly revisit in my work.
